36 weeks · 3 semesters Beginner → Job-ready IT Support Career-changers, recent grads, current Help-Desk staff prepping for promotion

Overview

ZHELTA Academy's flagship vendor-cert pathway. Across three semesters you build, troubleshoot and defend computer systems exactly the way a working IT-support professional does. Every module ships with an audio-guided lesson, AI Mentor support, achievements, and a hands-on drag-drop lab on real hardware and SOC tooling. The track maps 1-for-1 to the CompTIA A+ Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102) exam objectives so you finish prepared to sit and pass both exams.

What you'll learn

  • Semester 1 — Hardware Foundations: ports + connectors, CPU / RAM / motherboard / M.2 install, cable wiring (T568B, fibre, RG6 coax, 110 block), laptop + mobile teardown, BIOS / UEFI, virtualisation (Hyper-V + Azure VMs)
  • Semester 2 — Networking & Troubleshooting: subnetting on real gear, VLANs on Cisco, Wi-Fi site survey, OSI packet trace, firewall + NAT rules, routing-protocol selection, printer install / repair, Windows install, SOC alert triage, zero-trust design
  • Semester 3 — OS, Security & Operations: Windows hardening + least-privilege, RBAC + IAM policy, NIST CSF mapping, phishing detection, malware identification + removal, ransomware response, social-engineering defence, ticket + documentation discipline
  • 65+ hand-authored interactive drag-drop labs — every lesson opens directly into the lab shell with no separate "practice" mode
  • 3 graded capstone certificates (one per semester) that demonstrate end-to-end competence

Outcomes

  • Pass CompTIA A+ Core 1 (220-1101) AND Core 2 (220-1102) on first attempt
  • Confidently build, diagnose and repair desktop + laptop hardware
  • Subnet, troubleshoot and harden a small-business network
  • Triage tickets, document fixes, and respond to ransomware + phishing incidents
  • Qualify immediately for Help Desk Analyst, IT Support Technician, and Field Tech roles
